Fine Loose Tea

Red Tea

A fully-fermented tea, red tea is produced mostly at south of China, province of Guandong, Fujian, and Hunnan.

Red tea is sometimes named Gong Fu Cha (such as Qimen Gong Fu Hong Cha) due to its detailed tea processing method. Some of the red teas are smoked with pine to give a rosin aroma. A good quality red tea gives a very aromatic fragrance, an extremely bright clear red tea color, and an elegant strong taste that stays smoothly in throat.

Red tea is also the closest to english teas such as Earl Grey and English Breakfast. This is the reason it becomes one of the most important exportation in the international tea market to China.

Health benefits:
Help to regulate digestive system, clear mind, increase energy

Brewing method:
1 tea spoon (4g) of tea leaves in a traditional Gaiwan infused with 95°C hot water for 45 seconds and add 10 seconds for each additional infusion.
