Green Wulong Tea

Originating from the end of Ming Dynasty and the beginning of Ching Dynasty, wulong tea is a semi-fermented tea mostly produced in the province of Fujian and Guangdong.

Wulong tea is categorized in between green tea and red tea as it has certain characteristics of the both: dark solid green leaves, bright golden tea color, green with red edges leaves when wet, and deep but refreshing floral aroma. Depending on the degree of fermentation, green wulong tea is less fermented and has more characteristics as green tea. One of the most famous and well-known green wulong is Anxi Ti Guan Yin.

Wulong tea has always been a very popular tea in China due to the fact that it helps alot to eliminate body fat and bad cholesterol. It is definitely a good brevage to go with a diet program.

Health benefits:
Decrease inflammation, elimiate bad cholesterol, lower blood fat level

Brewing method:
1 tea spoon (4g) of tea leaves in a traditional Gaiwan infused with 90°C hot water for 45 seconds and add 10 seconds for each additional infusion.
