Green Tea

The green tea category was the earliest to appear in Chinese tea history. Green tea is non-fermented or slightly-fermented products. Its dried leaves, color, and wet leaves are generally green. Each year 70% of tea produced in China is green tea. Almost every tea garden in China produces green tea. Green tea plantations are mainly located in the province of Hangzhou, Zhejiang, Anhui, Jiangsu, and Hunnan.

Today, superior quality green tea is still being processed using the traditional tea processing technique by experienced tea making masters. Natural withering, steaming, pan frying, and leaves rolling are all done by hand. Therefore, each fine green tea is considered as a handcraft product. Its elegant appearance, jaded-green color, refreshing aroma, and smoothness of taste assure the valuable position of green tea among all Chinese tea.
